Heart Wood Products, located in Warrenton, GA, was established in 2019 as a joint venture with Josh Stephens and the owners of Phoenix Wood Products. The owners and managers have nearly 100 combined years in the wood packaging industry. Starting with just a few employees, the company now employs over 65 people, operates two full-time shifts, and produces 35,000 pallets per week.
Using more than 2.5M bf monthly, Heart Wood Products produces Eastern Hardwood and Southern Yellow Pine pallets.
Heart Wood takes pride in our goal of keeping our CPU (cost per unit) as low as possible. Our experienced management team watches these numbers daily, weekly and monthly to ensure this. Our vendor partnerships with our lumber mills are the strongest of any other supplier in the Southeast. These partnerships allow us to avoid any major supply issues, while also avoiding the open market and paying more for materials. Finally, and most importantly, our production and sales teams constantly collaborate to look for improvement opportunities in design and production to share with our customers and partners.
